Residents under the Buffalo City Municipality have taken their municipality to court disputing the inconsistent billing they are getting from the municipality. The municipality is reportedly deducting 80% of the electricity purchase so that this amount can go towards outstanding arrears. The other complaint residents are raising is that even houses that are not occupied as the owners live oversees, the billing comes very high.
